Bridal Talk Tuesday: Happy Valentines Day- Engagement Picture Sneak Peak!

When thinking of when I would debut my Engagement Picture

sneak peak shots that our photographer posted on Facebook

I thought there would be no better time than

on Valentines Day and also on Bridal Talk Tuesday.

How convenient that these are on the same day today! :)

A little history first. 

Maria Glassford of Maria Glassford Photography

was the first photographer that [KP] and I met with. 

I knew I wanted to meet with her first because she was

my #1 choice. I was intrigued by every photo that she

posted on Facebook and stalked her page for new 

photos long before we were even engaged. (Every bride

is a stalker, dont deny it!) So we met with Maria after

we had been engaged for a few months. I planned a Friday

out for us to meet and we met with her first thing in the

morning and I had plans for us to meet with two

other photographers that day. I wanted to meet

with all of my favorites in the same day so 

that I could compare them best that way.

We talked with Maria like we had known her

forever.. and we actually knew a few other couples that 

she had photographed. After we talked with Maria we

got in the car and [KP] looked at me and said "Ok,

my mind is made up. Can you cancel the appointments

for the rest of the afternoon?" At that point I knew

Maria would be our photographer. But of course, like any

good bride does I proceeded to go to the other appointments.

But I just didn't feel a connection with any of the other 

photographers like I did with Maria. Her photos capture

so much emotion and I wanted the same things to be 

captured on my day. I also loved that she was

a detail-oriented photographer. I love details! And

boy will there be lots of them to capture on our big day.

Now- the good stuff!
