Trip to Cincy/Flying outfit.

Flying to Cincy tomorrow for [KP]'s baseball tourney this weekend.
This is the outfit I plan on wearing on the plane.
I always try to dress comfy and warm on airplanes because I usually freeze.

This is my first Polyvore on a blog.. What do you guys think?

What do you usually wear on planes?
Do you like to be comfy & warm like I do?

Hope everyone is having a great week :)

My love graduates college!

[KP] graduated from college a few weeks ago! It was so awesome and I was so proud of him the entire time I was there. At first we were not sure if he would walk with his class or not because they were scheduled to be playing in a baseball tournament a few hours away on graduation day. Because they lost the first two games of the tournament they were eliminated and he was able to attend graduation! (I've never been so thankful for loses, Shh!) He honestly didn't want to walk just because it was 3 1/2 hours long and boring at some points. But I think afterwards he was glad he did it and I know he will appreciate the fact that he did in the future.
It was a great ceremony in a large convention center in Lakeland.
It did last 3 1/2 hours.
Which is WAY excessive! Expecially when it starts at 7:30pm.
By the time we got out nothing was open except Buffalo Wild Wings. (which I never turn down)
It was all in all a great night!

Here's some pictures:

Class of 2011!!
Program.
[KP] is on the end of the last row.
getting ready to walk up.
400 graduates this year. Largest class ever for Southeastern (small Christian university in Lakeland, FL).
My handsome grad :) YES, he did walk across the stage with the croakie on. And all his friends were yelling "Bigsnook" (his nickname) when he walked across the stage!
He looks so happy here.. haha, not!
Smiling picture! I wore my new Lilly dress that I scooped up at the Leapin' Lizards Basement Event. Its the Bel air dress in carson's grandstand patch! And I broke in my new white jacks.
He was dying to take the cap off!
[KP]'s parents & us.
Congrats to my handsome BF 2011 grad! Can't wait to join you in your new graduation status in August! I love you and I am so proud of everything you have accomplished :)

Any one else attend any graduations lately?

Hope everyone had a great weekend and has a great week!

my BFF comes to visit!

Well I told y'all that my BFF [AB] was coming down from TN to visit me during both of our breaks from school. She got here on Wednesday and we immediately started doing things as soon as she got here. I took her down to Fort Myers beach for dinner at Parrot Key and we watched the FMB sunset afterwards and went to Kilwin's for ice cream! Then the next day we went to Sanibel Island with bee_sue from Preppy wife Preppy life! Turns out her and [AB] knew each other before I even met bee_sue in nursing school (small town, small world). We had the best day soaking up the sun on Sanibel and even stopped at the local Lilly boutique on the Island- Her Sport's Closet. And when we got home we found our sale dresses in the mail that we purchased at the Leapin' Lizards FB sale earlier in the week! (what a great day :) Then we headed down to Blu Sushi for dinner and had yogurt mountain for dessert (quite possibly the best combination). The next day was of course Royal Wedding day and we lounged around all morning and watched that, laid out by the pool for a bit then headed down to Captiva for dinner and drinks at the Mucky Duck, followed by dessert at the Bubble Room. We watched the sunset on Captiva beach and it was so gorgeous (look for pictures below). We had such a great time and I can't wait to see [AB] again. Most likely this time will be in TN at our cabin hopefully this summer.

Here's pictures of our weekend:

[AB] & I on FMB watching the sunset.

Finally got a picture with the sun setting in the back.

Toes in the sand.

[AB] & I on Sanibel Island

Most beautiful beach ever!

Bee_sue & I on Sanibel Island!

All three on Sanibel Island, it was such a gorgeous day!

Stone crab claws anyone?

Yum! Makes beach days 10x better.

Daisy doing some lounging at the pool.

Just relaxing on the floatie.

[AB] & I on Captiva at the Mucky Duck!

Bubble Room Orange Crunch cake = too die for!

Lots of people at the Mucky Duck, great band to the left.

[AB] & I watching the Captiva sunset, nothing better!

We had such a great time! Can't wait to see her again.

Hope y'all had a great weekend!

In God's Time.

Many of you may remember the post I wrote a few weeks ago about having
that feeling that my life was moving so slllooowww and I just wanted to
speed it up and makes things happen.
You can find this post here.
Unfortunately, I still have this feeling.
But, many exciting things are happening lately.
[KP] is graduating college this week! And will be finishing up
baseball regionals (and hopefully nationals) in a few weeks.
While driving the two hours to Lakeland a few weeks ago I heard a new song come on Highway 16 (my favorite country radio station on XM radio). This song was called...
In God's Time by Randy Houser.
I got excited just by the title and the fact that I simply love Randy Houser, he sings great old time country music. As I listened to the lyrics of this song play over the radio I was immediately covered in chill bumps and had tears streaming down my face.
THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED TO HEAR!

I find it amazing sometimes how God speaks to me in different ways every time.
This song isultimate reassurance for me that it will happen,
IF it is HIS WILL and in HIS TIME.
I can't hear this song now without being reminded of that moment & that feeling.
It was the best feeling.. like God wrapped his arms around me and said..
STOP WORRYING AND LIVE YOUR LIFE!

Here are the lyrics for this song!
It was just released on Itunes last week and it is simply fabulous.
I hope that many of the ladies who commented on my last post about experiencing these same
feelings will find comfort in these lyrics & use this song as I do when I need some encouragement.

In God's time
A million years might only be a single day
And everything He does gets done His own way
In God's time

And in God's time
You'll find that certain someone you've been praying for
And they'll be everything you dreamed of and a little more
In God's time

Oh, but no one knows
Not you or me
It might be tomorrow or it might never be
Oh, but don't lose faith
Put it in His hands
'Cause it might be that He might have a bigger plan
Than you had in mind
Miracles happen
In God's time

And in God's time
You'll finally get the chance to hold your baby girl
And all the sudden everything'll make sense in this crazy world
In God's time

Oh, but no one knows
Not you or me
It might be tomorrow or it might never be
Oh, but don't lose faith
Put it in His hands
'Cause it might be that He might have a bigger plan
Than you had in mind
Miracles happen
In God's time

And In God's time
You go to sleep and wake up with wings and learn to fly
And you finally meet your loved ones on the other side
In God's time

I hope you all are having a great day! Happy Thursday!

Easter!

I know this post is a little delayed but I've been enjoying my break so much
and haven't had time to post! This Easter [KP] & I went to church with
our favorite newlywed couple [JD & JD].
Then we went to Red Robin, YUMMM! (sorry, couldn't help myself).
And [KP]'s mom made dinner for all of his family later that afternoon.
We had the traditional Easter meal with ham, potatoes, green beans and it was delish!
Then we had an Easter egg hunt for some of [KP]'s cousins. It was such a great day!

Our traditional annual Easter picture!

[KP]'s little cousin, daisy & I.

Daisy in her Easter dress!

Outfit: Sweater- J.crew
Blouse: J.crew
Skirt: J.crew
Sandals: (not pictured) Kate Spade

[KP]'s outfit: Dress Shirt: Polo
Dress pants: Polo
Shoes: (not pictured) Kenneth Cole

I bought the eggs that blended into the surroundings! It took them
forever to find this one.

[KP]'s cousin eating the candy as she went along.

Counting all the eggs up to make sure we didn't miss any!

My Easter egg birds nests'!

And Easter egg cupcakes!

Daisy found an egg for herself.

Kyle's Easter basket. I worked long and hard on this thing and I am just kinda satisfied with how it came out. I used the new Sharpie paint pens and they were a little difficult to use. (Or maybe I'm just a messy crafter).

I hope everyone else had a great Easter and I know you did because I have already read most of your posts!

Have a great week bloggers!
