I know I am a little late with this post but I read
'Saving CeeCee Honeycutt' during College Prep's book
review last month! It was an enjoyable, light read that I read
while traveling to Cincinnati to watch [KP] play baseball.
I enjoyed the story line and I loved the fact
that her Great Aunt took her into her (what seems like) gorgeous home
in Savannah. (This part of the book reminded me of Pollyanna!
Anyone a fan? I can write about old Disney movies all day long!)
If you are looking for a quick, easy-to-read, and enlightening book- then
this one would be great! It was definitely a fun summer read as I
could just picture some of the beautiful gardens
that CeeCee enjoys tending to!
The next book on the list is this one:
I've already started reading and I love it so far! Look for a review coming up soon!
I also have a few more summer reads that I plan on reading this
summer they are:
The Help (already started)
Water for Elephants (late on this one, I know)
...and of course any other recommendations you would like to give me :)
P.S.- I read on my Ipad! Best thing ever!
Hope y'all are having a great Monday!
