Spring Break '11 Recap.

Hello Bloggers!

I have been absent the last few days because honestly I am still trying to recover from Spring Break. It was such an amazing week that consisted of [KP's] baseball games, making corned beef and cabbage for dinner with some friends on St. Patty's day (a first for me), LOTS of frozen yogurt, some shopping, LOTS of eating out, a Kenny Chesney concert, and a Braves baseball game! Whew, it was a whirlwind of a week and I wish it could have gone by just a tad slower. Because now it's back to the reality of nursing school. But I'm going to update you guys with some pictures I took during the week:

[KP] doing what he does best, baseball.

My homemade corned beef and cabbage! Such an easy "one pot wonder".

We passed this awesome field of wildflowers on the way to the concert.

Since we were in bumper-bumper traffic on I4 I thought why not get out and take some pictures?

Some pre-concert tailgaiting.

We had really great seats thanks to the best mama.

Billy Currington! mhmmm. (enough said)

This concert pretty much sold out Raymond-James stadium in Tampa (Bucs stadium).

Zac Brown playing behind us! (and our friend Eugene our bodyguard hah.)

We caught Kenny's special "Big, orange ball" he sings about in the song how forever feels, and we signed it just for him!

And who is sitting right in front of us but Zac Brown's parents! They were the nicest couple ever.

Kenny & Zac (were on a first name basis now) sang some duets at the end of the show! What a great finale.

Definitely one of the top 3 concerts I've ever been too! (I'm quite a concert addict! #1 Taylor Swift #2 George Strait/Reba McEntire/LeeAnn Womack)

Kenny just knows how to throw a great party! I didn't sit down once all night (concert lasted from 4:30-11:00) and I am definitely still paying for that mistake.

The next day we went to the Braves Spring Training game in Orlando.

Of course #10 Chipper Jones is my favorite player (ever since I was little) and I was so excited every time he got on first (he's that good).

The Braves won the game and we couldnt help but get a picture with the Braves Mickey on the way out.

Overall it was a great Spring Break, I'd say one of the best! We did so much that now I am just trying to recover and get back into the swing of school again. And nothing says "Welcome back" like an 8 page paper which was due tonight.

I hope everyone else had a great spring break!

xoxo.

What a fun spring break! I loved reading about the Kenney C. concert and think that it is so neat that you met Zac Brown's parents. I still regret that we didn't see KC a few years ago when he was in our area.

I'm so happy to have discovered you blog!
