Caloosa Catch & Release Fishing Tourney

Recently my Fiance` [KP] and one of his friend [KN] fished
a local fishing tournament along with my little cousin [CC].
It was a two day tournament that was hosted at South Seas
(aka = the dream wedding location).
I was secretly scouting spots the entire time I was there, hah!
Anyways, the boys fished very well and placed 6th out of around 50
boats. Which is pretty good considering they had
never fished this tournament before and were
fishing against some professional guides with an 11 year old in tow.
The first day.. coming in to weigh their fish.

Two great Redfish the first day had them in 4th place.

Only one nice sized Redfish the second day ended them in 6th.

My cousin [CC] loved fishing in his first tournament!

Weigh in board.. they are 3rd from bottom on the left- Lee Timber Company.

Of course enjoying the free beer.

 Go gators :)

 At the weigh-in dinner!

One of my oldest friends [MM], we went to elementary school together!

All of us during the dinner.

It was a great dinner and I'm sure the boys had a great time
fishing even thought they didn't win.

Hope y'all are having a great weekend! It's raining here
at the lake so I took some time to blog!

Mom's birthday.

Since it has almost been a month since my Mom's birthday I
figured now would be a good time to write about what we did
for her birthday!

We went to her favorite restaurant on the water by our house,
Doc Fords!

My mom & step-dad.

[KP] & I :)

Mom and my younger brother and sister.

Mom & I.

[KP] & I. This was a few weeks before engagement.

And all of us.. This picture explains so much.

We love Doc Fords and go here often. This is also where we went for
my birthday/surprise engagement dinner.
They have island style food with a lot of fish and seafood
(which is my favorite).
If you are ever in the Fort Myers/Sanibel area you should
definitely try it! (There is one on Fort Myers beach and
Sanibel Island).

I am home from Alaska and just trying to get caught up on blogs
that I didn't post before I left.
And of course my blog reading.
I think it's bad when your google reader doesn't even
say a number anymore it just says this:

Uhmm yes, I promise I will be catching up on my reading
and commenting.

Currently battling a cold, a lot of school work, and
the fact that [KP] and I were
rear-ended last night while meeting some friends
for dinner. My poor car is really bad :( I will post a picture later.

Appreciating any prayers right now just for all the issues going on.
And also for [KP]'s job situation. He finds out
soon whether he will be getting the job he has been interviewing for.
And it would answer so many prayers if he does.

Thanks ladies!
Promising commenting/more blogging coming soon.
