Bridal Talk Tuesday: Erin Condren to the rescue!

Linking up with Elizabeth from Life
with Elizabeth today for Bridal Talk Tuesday!

So when we first got engaged I made [KP]
go to Barnes and Noble with me and
sit in the wedding aisle sorting through
books and wedding planning notebooks.
I ended up buying a few things including
a wedding planning notebook called "The
Ultimate Wedding Planning Notebook"
(or something like that). I used it for
a little while, filling in a few things here
and there. Then I won a giveaway on
Jenna's Journey for an Erin Condren giftcard
and I was perusing through the Erin Condren
site contemplating what I would purchase with my
credit. I have heard rave reviews on the Life Planner.
But having a perfectly good Lilly Pulitzer planner
I wasn't ready to make the Life Planner switch yet.
Cue Erin Condren Wedding Planners!
I picked the taffy option and customized it in our
wedding colors! It has everything you need for great
planning success inside. My favorite part is
the calendar and the To do and goals section of each
month, as my other wedding planning notebook
didn't have this. I also ordered the matching address
book so that I could slowly collect all of our wedding
addresses in one place and have them all stored nicely
for our first married address book.

Here she is!

Address book on the left, wedding planner
on the right.

Wedding planner!

Address book! It has my new
last name in the white line (blurred out
for the creepers).

Inside front cover

I love the extra labels I had added as well!

Way to remember birthdays!

I love the quotes on almost every page!

Love this one inside the wedding planner!

Tips.

Also love these monthly checklists. It's pretty good that
we're still 9 months away and I have almost everything
done on the 6-8month list :)

Budget pages- I will be updating these soon!

Photo page for pictures you want your Photog
to take.

I love the notes section- I take this with me to all my planning
meetings and make notes in this section about what we went over.

November 10, 2012!

Erin Condren clearly understands my need for stickers. love!

For storing extra papers.

More labels!

To say that I am liking my new Erin Condren
items is an understatement. I am loving them!
They always stay in my wedding planning bag
so that I always have them close by.
I hope anyone who is looking for a wedding planning
book or a Life Planner or any custom items for
that matter heads on over to Erin Condren's site.
She really does make just about everything over there!

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Bridal Talk Tuesday: Pinterest does it again.

Linking up with Elizabeth today
from Life with Elizabeth for Bridal
Talk Tuesday!

Today I bring you some of my
favorite recent Pinterest finds.

Honestly, I don't know how
Brides planned weddings before Pinterest.
Did this really happen?! I have all of my
wedding ideas characterized under
different boards related to each different
aspect of the wedding. It is SO easy to take
my laptop, Ipad or Iphone to all
of my planning appointments
and show my planner and everyone else
all of the great ideas I've found lately.
I also love how easy it is to print
the pins off for future reference.

You can find me on Pinterest here:

these vases.

Loving this cake with the ribbon and the dots.
And it already has a 'P'.. perfect!

Loving this centerpiece!

I love this tablescape.. the driftwood, flowers, and candles
are all perfect.

More wooden box inspiration

Nautical Stripe ribbon on the bouquets

White and green flowers and sticks in
the center

Milk glass inspiration

Wooden drink stirrers

Bride Bouquet

Love the monogrammed burlap!

Love this nautical stripe background for the photo booth!

The maids bouquets will be mostly green

Metal anchor placecard holders

Anchor monogram wedding logo

As you can probably tell this navy and green anchor
suite is amazing and fits everything I want perfectly.
This suite was made by Nico and LaLa and I am
already speaking with them about creating
something similar for our wedding.

Nautical Stripe runner

We will be using these for place cards!

I made some gold mason jars and no one liked
them so I need an opinion.. what do you ladies think?
I should post pictures of the ones I made. That will be
another day.

This makes me laugh. My brother and [KP] have
gotten quite good at making apple pie moonshine so
I told them they will have to make a lot so we can serve
it like this at the wedding!

As you can see I've fallen hard for the wooden
box centerpieces.

Wanting a combination of both of these
for the arch. Elements of the driftwood and
the birch wood and the hydrangea balls
and the hanging flowers.

Any other brides loving Pinterest for organizing
wedding ideas?
