Blog Awards.

I have received three blog awards in the last few weeks and
I am just now getting around to posting about them!

The first one is the Juici Blog Award from Jessi at The Juici Life.
She said the sweetest things about my blog
when introducing this award and I really
appreciate the traffic she sent this new bloggers way :)

The second and third awards are the
'One Lovely Blog Award' that I received from both
Elizabeth at Life with Elizabeth.

With this award I am sharing 7 fun facts about myself and tagging 15 other bloggers.
I am so thankful for all of my bloggers and I hope some of you will pass this
award on.

Here it goes:
1. I am so thankful for my Mom, she is my best friend and is always there for me!

2. [KP] & I really want a French Bulldog. I think this will be our first big purchase together.
Isn't she so cute?
3. Disney World is one of my favorite places on earth! I love family vacations to Disney
and I also love going with just [KP]. So many fun things to do, it never gets old!
4. I DESPISE roses. [KP] knows this of course and got me these gorgeous tulips this
last Valentines Day.
5. I live in Southwest Florida minutes away from some of the most gorgeous beaches
in the country. One of our favorites is Sanibel Island (pictured).
6. I LOVE hunting. This is my dad & I dove hunting this past fall. He is the one
who taught me how to hunt and I enjoy going with him every year.
7. I love trying new desserts/recipes from magazines or cookbooks. This is a
cool whip/angel food cake/vanilla pudding parfait that I made for
Mothers Day and for another family BBQ. Such a great summer dessert that
everyone loves!

Where I blog.

This is where I blog...

Kinda messy at the moment (Don't judge! I'm a nursing student!)

Nothing better than sitting at my desk and working on school or a new blog.
I am definitely a desk worker.. Most likely because I like having everything in front of me while working.

Where do you blog?

(I have to admit it's late and tonight I am blogging from my bed.)



Also- looking for a new blog design. Anyone have any recommendations?

visit to palm beach!

During my recent break from nursing school, I went to the East Coast to visit my college
roomate [HE]. It turns out that [KP] had a baseball tournament in
Jupiter that week so it worked out really well.







[HE]'s sweet pug- peanut
& mastif- shorty! love them.

Of course I can't go more than a few days without fro-yo. This one was called Fro Yotopia and was pretty good.








[HE] also introduced me to these awesome Crayola window markers.
(Of course every future teacher should have these!)


Shorty enjoys blogging too!



Palm Beach Gardens mall just got a Vineyard Vines store!













And of course the Lilly Pulitzer store was on my must-visit list. They had some of the great new Summer items just released. I purchased a pair of Callahan's and ordered the Buttercup shorts in the pink seersucker.
We also went to see Easton Corbin & Corey Smith at City Place while we were there!

I had such a great week with [HE] and I'm so glad she let me come stay with her! If anyone
is ever in the Jupiter/Palm Beach area let me know and I can recommend some
fabulous dinner spots/shopping.
It was so much fun to catch up with her since I don't get to see her that often and I can't
wait til' she comes over to my side for a visit!

P.S.- Sorry for the weird spacing on this post! It looks fine on my end but when I publish
it turns out all spaced crazy. Blogger & I are not getting along today.

Trip to Cincy/Flying outfit.

Flying to Cincy tomorrow for [KP]'s baseball tourney this weekend.
This is the outfit I plan on wearing on the plane.
I always try to dress comfy and warm on airplanes because I usually freeze.

My love graduates college!

[KP] graduated from college a few weeks ago! It was so awesome and I was so proud of him the entire time I was there. At first we were not sure if he would walk with his class or not because they were scheduled to be playing in a baseball tournament a few hours away on graduation day. Because they lost the first two games of the tournament they were eliminated and he was able to attend graduation! (I've never been so thankful for loses, Shh!) He honestly didn't want to walk just because it was 3 1/2 hours long and boring at some points. But I think afterwards he was glad he did it and I know he will appreciate the fact that he did in the future.
It was a great ceremony in a large convention center in Lakeland.
It did last 3 1/2 hours.
Which is WAY excessive! Expecially when it starts at 7:30pm.
By the time we got out nothing was open except Buffalo Wild Wings. (which I never turn down)
It was all in all a great night!

400 graduates this year. Largest class ever for Southeastern (small Christian university in Lakeland, FL).
My handsome grad :) YES, he did walk across the stage with the croakie on. And all his friends were yelling "Bigsnook" (his nickname) when he walked across the stage!
