a week of randoms..

This week and last week have been so busy while I have been finishing
up my last classes of the semester and taking my final exams.
Well good news- I'm done with schoolfor 2 1/2 weeks!
You have no idea how excited this makes me.
Lots of time for laying out, shopping, eating fabulous dinners,
reading, watching movies/TV and just relaxing.
I simply cannot wait. My BFF [AB] is coming down for the weekend
from TN and I'mexcited to spend time with her since I haven't seen her
in a year or so. (We will be doing all the things I mentioned above).
Anyways I thought I would fill all my fellow bloggers in on
what I have been up to lately and what I'm loving right now.

What I'll be doing this weekend :) Sanibel Island pictured.

My sleeping princess. I know- I have the cutest dog ever.

A project that Preppy Wife Preppy Life & I did for school. We got a 100%. :)

Have you guys tried these yet? For Low-cal. margaritas they are pretty good.
(not gonna lie I had one of these as SOON as I got home from my exam yesterday)

My parents went to Carlo's last week while in NJ for a wedding. Jealous? I know, me too.

And yes, they did wait an hour and a half in the cold.

Mary even made an appearance while they were inside! She's my favorite.

My beautiful mama inside. (Don't we look like twins?)

Annnddd- I got a to-go box brought all the way back to FL!

This baby was inside. Pure deliciousness, I can't even describe how good.

Anyone else have a Keurig? I found these at Target and probably squealed when I saw them.

The best part.. They are so good! Even better in my shopaholic tervis tumbler.

Also found my first two boxes of Lilly animal crackers at CVS thanks to @thenauticalprep's recommendations on twitter!

Daisy at Kyle's baseball game last week!

Hope you all are having a great week! Check back later this week for my Easter post!

xoxo.

Miranda Lambert Concert!

Last week some of my nursing girlfriends & I went to the Miranda Lambert concert at our local arena. She had Josh Kelly open up first (married to Katherine Heigl & brother to Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelly), Justin Moore was second, and then Miranda. It was such a great concert- she really knows how to have fun! All in all it was a nice much needed girls night out with my ladies.

Nursing girls know how to have fun :)

Josh Kelly!

Justin Moore- he can sure shake his buns!

He's such a cute- only 5'5"!

Loved his camo guitar too!

Love this picture!

We were in the pit and got to see them all up close!

The girls again :)

Miranda! She looked so gorgeous!
And flashing her bling from hubby-to-be Blake Shelton!

Loved her pink mic!
And she had a shotgun mic stand but it wouldn't upload right!

My best nursing friend [BA] (soon to be [BK]) just started her own blog- Preppy Wife Preppy Life! Check it out and follow her journey in life and planning her dream wedding!

Hope everyone had an amazing Easter weekend!

Diamonds are a girls best friend.

So I have been a baseball girlfriend for the past 6 1/2 years and I've been lovin' every minute.
Through high school I was at almost every game even though I had no idea what was going on.
Now- I have a better idea what is going on and I get really into the games.
Through the years of high school & college I have always sported a shirt with my man's name and number.
Whether made by a t-shirt shop or by my own hands with puffy paint I wear my shirt proud :)
There were a few loyal girlfriends in high school but the college games have been much better.
These girls that I have bonded with over the last four college baseball seasons have become some of my best friends and I will be sad when the end of this season comes.
Last week [KP]'s team had one of their last regular season games against a minor league team they play every year and they also had senior night.
Senior Night was bittersweet and I actually found myself tearing up at times.. Last home game of [KP]'s college baseball career.
Last home game in the baseball girlfriend/fiance/wifey section :(
Of course these nights were documented with some typical pictures.

[KP]'s last name is on the back, but covered incase some creeper decides to stalk me.

One of my fav gf's- names covered, but matching shirts.
Can't really see my bow- but it's B&W polka dots with #27 in red stitching

[KP]'s two out sign- he does this every time! LOVE it- baseball players are so superstitious.

[MP] & I in our matching baseball shirts. "Diamonds are a girls best friend."

[KP] getting an out.

Accepting his senior night plaque.

don't care what any one says- baseball is BY FAR the sexiest sport.
Especially when your man plays 1st base :)
Our BF's after the game.

Here I go again with the sad posts.. but I really am sad that the season is coming to an end but happy to have [KP] graduating and moving back home.. Even though it means
leaving some good friends & good times.
Love you all <3

Hope everyone is having a good week!
P.S.- I wrote this post instead of studying for my peds. test tomorrow- smart, I know.

slow motion.

This will be the first blog that I have written that is somewhat personal and gives you a deeper view into my life.

I am in this really weird place right now.....

I'm about to graduate college with my Bachelor's in Nursing in August.
I will finish my preceptorship in December.
I will take the NCLEX in January 2012.
Then I will be applying for nursing jobs.
Whoahh, scary.

I have been dating my boyfriend for almost SEVEN (7) years.
It will officially be 7 years on my birthday.
I'm turning 22 on June 28.
Everyone I know (pretty much) is engaged or married.
I still live at home with my parents.

I'm at this place in life where things are ABOUT to happen.
But.. nothing is happening.
It seems like everything I want to happen is taking FOREVER.
And I have the least amount of patience of anyone I know.
It's not like I want to move out, be engaged, get married, and have kids all right away.
I just need a change.

I have been asking the Lord to give me patience and contentment...
to enjoy where I am at in life right now.
This might come out as complaining to some..
but I just felt I should express this feeling.

Do any of you feel the same?

xoxo.

The Masters!

So who do you ladies think will win The Masters?

It's most definitely on my bucket list to go see the Masters.
[KP] & I were cheering for Bubba Watson, Rory McIlroy or Tiger Woods.
(And even though I don't know much about Adam Scott... uhmm YUM!)
But it looks like all of them have fallen too far down to make a come-back.
Oh well, there's always next year I guess.

Who do you want to win?

Weekend re-cap coming tomorrow!
Hope you ladies had an amazing weekend.

xoxo.

CONFESSION: I LOVE WEDDINGS!

CONFESSION: I LOVE WEDDINGS! (I mean really... who doesn't?!)
Our best couple friends got married this weekend! It was one of the most perfect days I have ever experienced. The weather was perfect and the bride was gorgeous!
Their 'theme' was vintage/southern and it turned out amazing.
We are so excited for our friends and wish them a lifetime of happiness!

Cute 'welcome' table! The tea set, bible, and cowboy boots were all left in memory of family members looking down on this day from heaven.
The canvas served as the 'guest book' and they had everyone sign it to hang in their future home! (what a great idea)

This sight just took my breathe away. How awesome does this look?! the ceremony was held at a small country club under the gorgeous oak trees.

All of the flowers/plants etc. were done by the MOG and her sisters. Aren't they awesome?

This was the arbor they constructed from scratch from trees and decorated with flowers. They out-do themselves at every wedding! This picture does not even do justice.

The fans also served as the program.

Once, again the flowers turned out amazing. I loved the spring assortment of colors! MOG does it once again!

And the gorgeous bride and her father. I have to admit I am tearing up at this point! And seeing the groom at the end of the aisle I now have full-on tears. Weddings' get me everytime.. especially one for our awesome friends.

Me and my handsome groomsman!

Doesn't he clean up nicely?
Dress: Jcrew, Shoes: Gianni Bini (Dillards), Necklace: Francesca's, Bag: LV!

The cake was strawberry with cream cheese icing (groom & my groomsman's favorite) and was made by family friends.

Groom's cake! So awesome and describes him perfectly.

Coolest seating chart I have ever seen!

Of course the groomsman were in charge of this!
They had a photo booth! So much fun! One of my friends [BR] from high school!
My love & I. Yes, the & sign is backwards! It looked the right way when i was holding it up in front of the screen! (haha- BLONDE!)

hehe :) love him.

This was such a fun wedding and I wish the best for our favorite couple. They are staying on a local beach this week and leaving for their honeymoon cruise friday! So thankful we were apart of their special day.

xoxo.
