Favorite music at the moment..

I LOVE making playlists! I think I have one for just about every occasion. This is a spring/summer playlist that I made recently that I have been listening to non-stop. Check out some of the songs and see what you think.. My favorite thing about Itunes is that you can listen before you buy, so try it out! I really only listen to country music (because it's the best, duh!). Enjoy!

(The best song on here that really gets me
excited for summer is... Knee Deep by ZBB!)

Rain, rain go away!

It has been raining all morning and it's awful.. I would have skipped class today if we didn't have presentations. I also had such a cute outfit picked out for my presentation but decided to go with the standard scrubs instead to avoid ruining my outfit in the hurricane outside!

Isn't this scrub color AWFUL. It's the only color we can wear :(

Think these cute Hunter rain boots will match my scrubs?

Engagement Rings.

So [KP] and I will have been dating for a whole 7 years this June! (Crazy right!) Sooo needless to say we are in that stage where we know we really want to be engaged and planning a wedding and our future together. Well, I might be the only one in this stage just waiting for the ring, hah! I have made a few trips to our favorite local jewelry store to pick out some of my favorites. Today while my mom and grandma and I were shopping they wanted to stop in for a few minutes (which turned into a few hours). I showed my grandma the settings I had been eyeing and got my finger sized and updated my wish list (thank god for those!). Just a note- it's really important my grandma (mimi) approves of the setting because one of her fabulous diamonds will be showcased in it! Just wanted to show you ladies a few things that I am looking at to see what you think. Let me know!

#4 choice! This one is a double halo setting with square stones in the band.

Single halo, simple setting.
Also a single halo with a simple setting.
This one is a single halo with bigger round diamonds in the band.

This one is my #1 choice! It has a double halo that is cushion cut shaped
around the round stone. and I have tried it on and it is fabulous.
(better picture at the top with the honey)

#3 choice! Also a double halo with a simple straight band with round stones.

This one is a double halo also (if you can't tell I love those) but the band gets skinny when it gets closer to the center stone.
#2 choice! Double halo with a smaller band with round stones and a cushion cut halo surrounding the center stone.

Marley Lilly.

Some of my fellow blogging ladies have some fabulous giveaways going on right now. But, my favorites are definitely the Marley Lilly giveaways. After reading about College Prep's giveaway and Flip Flops & Pearls giveaway I knew that I had to check out the Marley Lilly website, and I was not disappointed. I could pretty much add one of everything to my cart. So I am hoping to win one of these items from their giveaways! (If not I will surely buy all of them or put them on my birthday list!)

This is definitely my #1 pick- I mean it already has my monogram in the EXACT colors I would choose. What's not to love?

Every southern tailgating girl can NEVER have enough coozies.

I can already picture myself going to class in the morning with my coffee in this fabulous cup!

Love the croakie on the top!

This hat would be perfect for our summer trips to the beach.

Every since watching Michelle on the bachelor this season I have wanted a monogrammed necklace. And these are the most reasonably priced ones that I have seen.

I hope I win the giveaway, check out Marley Lilly's website!

Spring Break '11 Recap.

Hello Bloggers!

I have been absent the last few days because honestly I am still trying to recover from Spring Break. It was such an amazing week that consisted of [KP's] baseball games, making corned beef and cabbage for dinner with some friends on St. Patty's day (a first for me), LOTS of frozen yogurt, some shopping, LOTS of eating out, a Kenny Chesney concert, and a Braves baseball game! Whew, it was a whirlwind of a week and I wish it could have gone by just a tad slower. Because now it's back to the reality of nursing school. But I'm going to update you guys with some pictures I took during the week:

[KP] doing what he does best, baseball.

My homemade corned beef and cabbage! Such an easy "one pot wonder".

We passed this awesome field of wildflowers on the way to the concert.

Since we were in bumper-bumper traffic on I4 I thought why not get out and take some pictures?

Some pre-concert tailgaiting.

We had really great seats thanks to the best mama.

Billy Currington! mhmmm. (enough said)

This concert pretty much sold out Raymond-James stadium in Tampa (Bucs stadium).

Zac Brown playing behind us! (and our friend Eugene our bodyguard hah.)

We caught Kenny's special "Big, orange ball" he sings about in the song how forever feels, and we signed it just for him!

And who is sitting right in front of us but Zac Brown's parents! They were the nicest couple ever.

Kenny & Zac (were on a first name basis now) sang some duets at the end of the show! What a great finale.

Definitely one of the top 3 concerts I've ever been too! (I'm quite a concert addict! #1 Taylor Swift #2 George Strait/Reba McEntire/LeeAnn Womack)

Kenny just knows how to throw a great party! I didn't sit down once all night (concert lasted from 4:30-11:00) and I am definitely still paying for that mistake.

The next day we went to the Braves Spring Training game in Orlando.

Of course #10 Chipper Jones is my favorite player (ever since I was little) and I was so excited every time he got on first (he's that good).

The Braves won the game and we couldnt help but get a picture with the Braves Mickey on the way out.

Overall it was a great Spring Break, I'd say one of the best! We did so much that now I am just trying to recover and get back into the swing of school again. And nothing says "Welcome back" like an 8 page paper which was due tonight.

I hope everyone else had a great spring break!

Lilly wish list

[KP] and I took a trip to mall at millenia yesterday and I had to stop into Bloomingdale's to check out the Lilly P. section.. These are a few things I am currently in love with.

Lilly Pulitzer must-have's for spring:

Love this flamingo print!

The Daisy prints are my favorite!
This bag would be perfect with the dress below.

Hmm.. I think this might be the perfect white dress
for my nursing pinning ceremony in August.

Love these shoes! They would match everything.

And the daisies again. Love it!

Any spring Lilly must-haves on your list?

xoxo.

Misc. Monday

1. The Bachelor! (Caution- contains spoilers!)

I love the Bachelor and the Bachelorette and can't help but watch every season. I fell in love with Emily from the first show and I am so excited that Brad picked her!

She is absolutely so gorgeous and such a sweet girl. And Neil Lane.. How could a girl say no?

2. Yogurt Mountain :)
We just got one of these in my favorite outdoor mall and I am so in love. I could eat here every night, and the best part is the yogurt calories aren't that bad (except for all the bad toppings they feature to top it with).
So delicious!

3. Also, Seashells and Southern Belles is hosting a mollybeads giveaway and I would be so excited to win!

This is my favorite seahorse necklace from jcrew.

Wouldn't these mollybeads earrings be perfect to wear with my necklace? Love them.

xoxo.
